Bio

The 2021-2022 season is Nicki’s 1st season as Athletic Trainer for the Student Athletes of Lake Land College. Before joining the Lakers, Nicki was a Seasonal MiLB Assistant Athletic Trainer for the Boston Red Sox Baseball Club working primarily with the Rookies and long term rehab players in Fort Myers, Florida.

Nicki spent most of the 2020-2021 season at the University of Nevada-Reno as a Resident Intern Athletic Trainer working primarily with the Baseball team. Prior to UNR she was a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at Eastern Illinois University where she worked with the

Football, Baseball, and Swimming Athletes.

Nicki attended Eastern Illinois University where she earned both a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training in 2017 and a Master of Science in Sports Administration in 2020. Prior to enrolling at EIU she was enlisted in the United States Army; she worked as a Patriot Launching Station Enhanced Operator/Maintainer and was honorably discharged in 2014.

She has been a BOC certified Athletic Trainer since 2017. She is also certified in SASTM and certified in First Aide/CPR/AED.
