The Lakers traveled to Fairfield, IL and came away with a sweep of the Bobcats of Frontier College in 3 straight sets:
25-16, 25-16, 25-20
Lakers were lead by Sophomore outside hitter, Vanessa Freitas, who lead the Lakers with a double-double of 16 kills and 10 digs.
Middle blocker Brianna Hewing and Avery Bruns dominated at the net with a total of 11 combined blocks.
Brielle Crose led the team in digs with 14, followed by MIa Wade with 11.
Luciana Araujo controlled the offense with 22 assists for the night.
Lakers are back in action at Laker Field House for their first home match of the 2023 season!
